Friends of Sydney Gardens AGM
We celebrated The Friends of Sydney Gardens 10th Anniversary in style at our AGM on Sunday 15 October in the Sydney Gardens Community Pavilion. Professor Barry Gilbertson gave a fascinating and informative talk on Bath and its double inscription to UNESCO and World Heritage and we raised a toast to the Friendsand , our supporters and our achievements.

Bench dedicated to Roger Boothroyd - a founder member of the Friends of Sydney Gardens
The Friends of Sydney Gardens Committee and the family of Roger Boothroyd met at the Georgian Garden next to the Loggia on Sunday afternoon to celebrate the achievements of Roger Boothroyd. Roger was a founder member of the Friends of Sydney Gardens and we recognised his contribution to the park. Thank you!

Rough Sleepers in Sydney Gardens

There have been several reports of people rough sleeping in Sydney Gardens. If you would like to help, you can report incidents of rough sleeping on the StreetLink website and they will assist by connecting the homeless to local services. The Bath and North East Somerset Council have been in contact with Julian House to arrange accommodation for those involved.
Gardening Sessions on the 2nd Sunday of the month 10am - 12pm.
We hold regular gardening sessions in Sydney Gardens on the 2nd Sunday of the month. There is no need to bring any tools, just come along. Theses run from 10am – 12pm and children are welcome but must be supervised. Meet at the compound in Sydney Gardens near the gates at the rear of the Holburne Museum.
