Georgian Garden

The Friends of Sydney Gardens are pleased to announce that we have successfully raised over £3000 to plant a Georgian Garden in the park.
  • We were allocated two flower beds by the Council to the left and right of the Loggia
  • The Garden has been designed by Audrey Timm to be a traditional Georgian Garden with plants commonly used throughout that period
  • Planting is underway and includes four obelisks as a central feature.
Thank you to everyone who donated to the Georgian Gardens and made it possible. It will be a tremendous asset to the pleasure gardens.

A memorial bench has been installed in the Georgian Garden dedicated to Roger Boothroyd, a founder member of the Friends of Sydney Gardens.
